5 Additions to Make Your Insurance "Worth-The-Premium" According to My Clients.
The thing I really like about insurance is that it is customizable.

Which means every policy is going to be different based on the needs and wants of the customer. We want to be extra careful because when push-comes-to-shove, you'll want the insurance that fits your needs well.
We're about to see some of my clients' favorite things to add on their policies. I don't necessarily like to add these for various reasons, but we can get into that later.
Let's begin.
1. $0 windshield replacement
Typically, whenever you have a claim, you pay your deductible. But there is an endorsement typically available which excludes payments for windshield cracks. That means you pay a $0 deductible for switching out your cracked windshield. Pretty neat.
2. Equipment breakdown
This one is almost like a home warranty. I Suggest this one when my clients have pools/pool equipment, but this can also cover your in-home appliances when a sudden and accidental peril occurs.
3. Single-loss deductible.
Not super common, but when it's available you take it! This comes into effect when one peril takes out your home and your car. It creates a hack where you only have to pay the higher deductible and both losses are covered. Trust me, when you lose both, you'll really want this one on your policy.
4. Vet bills
Pet insurance is fairly rare to have and I can't figure out why. If you have a new cat or dog, you should really consider pet insurance. This drastically helps compensate vet bills which can be just as expensive as human medical bills. If you know, you know.
5. Engagement ring
Almost any personal item can be covered if it is added onto your policy with a "rider". Engagement rings are probably my most consistently written rider. Most companies cover engagement rings if they are lost, or stolen, even when traveling. So for those of you lucky enough to be married, I would seriously consider adding your engagement ring to your policy.
Pro tip: you can adjust your policy whenever. So if you're sitting there thinking, "Wait, I really should get pet insurance.", GO AND DO IT.
Give me a call and I will help you out even if you're with another agent!
Don't regret not putting it on while you still have the chance.
