Always a student

Constructive Criticism: the name of the game.

There's a few saying that I live by. Some come in and out, some are only needed for a season, but some are used daily. One of those daily sayings for me is

“Sometimes a teacher, Always a student”

I am here writing blogs because I have knowledge to share. Before I was in the industry I knew nothing about insurance. I followed whatever my parents did; it's what I knew. And I find that we, as humans, tend to follow the path paved before us in most scenarios. Many times that can actually be a valuable way to live life. Like In my case, my parents knew their insurance pretty well. That's fairly rare though.

Anyways, before I was an advisor, I knew nothing about insurance, like a lot of people. I still have much to learn.

I want to always be open for constructive Criticism.

I know a fair amount about insurance, but I don't know it all.

I know how to write a blog post, but I am no award winning author.

I know how to use WIX, but I am not web designer.

I say all this to open the door for you. Please. I want all the criticism. Pull my work apart. Tell me where I've messed up. I want to continually get better, even if it's only by 1%. Thanks to Atomic Habits, I know that the slightest change can make a big difference.
